FLAGS

FLAGS is a game about the power flags can have. Flags unify us, flags are a symbol of our identity, and flags can lead us down dangerous paths. In flags you play as a flag bearer, walking across a small island gathering soldiers under your flag in order to siege a castle that was stolen from your country. Once you have built an army you can siege the castle leading to a battle that will inevitably take lives, which you will then have to reflect upon after your victory or defeat.

This is a small experimental game made as a university project. 

The game was adapted from the artwork: “The storming of a Citadel and a naval battle between Venetians and Turks” by Jan Peeters.

Controls:

WASD or Arrow Keys  to move.

Rapidly tap spacebar to fight.
